The Art and Photography of Kenneth Greene
In September of 2015, after 40 years in California, we moved to Georgia. I will be posting my art and photography on my blog and making a better effort to keep current with new works and projects.
This is one of three of my photographs in a new exhibit in Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia as part of the Alpharetta Arts Guild.
I took it in Havana, Cuba.

This gentleman invited me into his home in the small town of Trinidad, Cuba. He was gracious and very patient with me as I communicated in my limited Spanish. I love the starkness and richness of this image. and oh yes, the lighting was exquisite!!!
I took this photo down the hill from our hotel in Trinidad, Cuba.
The morning of our last day in Cuba I went out with two of my photo buddies looking for cars to photograph. It was my third day feeling like crap, having somehow caught a cold in Havana. This was just across the street from our hotel. Cars, cars everywhere. They were’t hard to find. I am not a big car guy, however I loved the cars in Cuba. Lots more images to come. —

This is me at the Barber Shop in Trinidad getting a “Socialist Shave”. It was also the first time I had been shaved by someone else. I liked it, especially the hot towels and massage.

Hi All, I am excited to let you know I am going to Cuba again to photograph. This time to Havana and Trinidad. Lots of new photos to come, starting Feb. 10th.
This is the new photo I shot in Havana that I am replacing the one I already sold in the Art Gallery. It’s a building across the street from the Rafael Trejo Boxing Gymnasium.
It’s been hectic and exciting getting ready for the Gallery opening. I had six photographs that I took in Cuba for the Gallery but last week I made a sale. It was a 20 x 30 photograph I took at sunrise on the roof of a hotel in Old Havana. This one.
So now I am making a new one to replace it.  Also in the show I have six of my whimsical paintings…
